Today in art we learned about series and sequencing. 

Down below is a picture of a painting artboard that we had to figure out what works were sequenced together. 

The sequencing in this portfolio isn't very good but we noticed that the first work and the third are sequenced together. Then we also know that the last two on the first board are sequenced together with the first two on the second board. The last two on the second board are sequenced and on the first board, the second artwork is by it self and so is the fourth work.

This week we have been working on our mood boards and Matix's. For these to be done we had to decide on which categories match with what we want to do for our artboards. We did planning on what we wanted to do and to pick our artists.

English Blogger 12th February 2021

 

Today in English we learned about growth mindset and fixed mindset. Mr. Taylar explained that a growth mindset is where one's mind is still allowing more information to be learned and absorbed, however, it is the opposite of a fixed mindset. 

Looking at the image below you can see the difference between someone whose brain is still open and learning and you can see on the left side that the person's brain is no longer learning or open to learning anything new.

In English today we learnt about Multiple Intelligences. Multiple intelligences are things like logic and linguistics. After Mr Taylar explained about what multiple intelligences and stuff around it, we searched up multiple intelligences test in google search and we were to do the first three test's. Before we did the test's however we had to write a list of the eight different intelligence's and then write down in the order we think they would be for us. 

My list was:

1. Visual/ Spatial

2. Naturalist

3. Verbal/ Linguistic 

4. Interpersonal

5. Bodily/ Kinesthetic

6. Musical

7. Intrapersonal

8. Logical/ Mathematical

However, while I was doing the three test's, my assumption on my multiple intelligences were wrong.

On the first test I got Naturalist first, Linguistic second and Visual was my third. In the second test, I got:

1. Naturalist

2. Interpersonal

and Intrapersonal, Kinesthetic, and visual where third. This also was the same in the third test.
