Week 3 - Creative writing

In week 3 we've done creative writing
When ash rains from the sky and the smell of soot and i see flames coming from the buildings outside, the shrieking scream of girls and the sound of feet scaling and moving on the floor. Then the building collapse in on whoever was left inside. The police, the ambulance, the fire trucks, it was too painful to realise that Michael was the only one that didn't make it out.

In week 2 we did poetry and Haiku.

My Haiku's
Characterised by 3 qualities:

  1. Kiru - “cutting”. A juxtaposition of two images or ideas with a kireji (cutting word), acting like a verbal punctuation mark, separating the two. (No English equivalent, save for actual punctuation)
  2. 3 lines with 5, 7, 5 syllables
  3. A seasonal reference (related to nature, season implied)
